Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College has come into existence in the year 2005 fulfilling the holy wish of the great saint. This academic multidisciplinary hospital of the college is a non commercial venture and is equipped in a ways which are yet to be available in other hospital in Bangladesh.

Dr. Qamrul Huda Mohammed Sohel earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 1994 from Dhaka Medical College, under the University of Dhaka. Following graduation, he began his professional carrier as General Practitioner in different hospital from May 1995 to December 1998. In January 1999 he joined as an Assistant surgeon (Bangladesh civil service) and worked in Various Upazilla health complex and Union sub-centers of Bangladesh and worked upto March, 2002.
In April, 2002 he Joined as a Medical officer in department of medicine, Dhaka Medical College and worked up to December, 2004.
In January, 2005 he started his postgraduation training as a student of MD in Cardiology in Dhaka Medical College and completed his postgraduation in January, 2010. After completing his postgraduation he joined as Cardiologist in Dhaka Medical College & Hospital from January 2011 to April 2011. From May, 2011 he joined as an Emergency medical officer, Upazila Health Complex, Singair, Manikganj and worked upto January, 2012. He also worked as Cardiologist in Popular General Hospital, Pagla, Narayangonj from January, 2011 to January, 2012.
After leaving Government Service Dr. Qamrul Huda Mohammed Sohel joined Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital, Enayetpur, Sirajgonj as an Assistant Professor in the Cardiology department on March, 2020 and working till now.
Dr. Qamrul Huda Mohammed Sohel experiences in both Invasive Cardiology (coronary angiogram, Angioplasty, Right heart catheterization, Temporary and Permanent Pacemaker implantation & Peripheral angiogram) also non-invasive & Clinical Cardiology (ECG, Echocardiogram, Stress echo, ETT, Holter monitoring). He has practical experience both Clinical and Intervention Cardiology in Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital.
He is an active member of Bangladesh Society Of Cardiology, Bangladesh Society of Cardiac Intervention and Bangladesh Medical Association.
